Banglalink partners with iSocial to facilitate women’s entrepreneurship
Dhaka, 18 October, 2017: Banglalink, one of the leading digital communications service providers in Bangladesh, has partnered with the renowned civic & social organization iSocial (Infolady Social Enterprise Ltd.) to facilitate women’s entrepreneurship across the country. A memorandum of understanding between the two parties was signed by Erik Aas, CEO, Banglalink and Dr. Ananya Raihan, CEO, iSocial at Banglalink Headquarter on October 16, 2017.
Under the agreement, iSocial will work as a national non-exclusive distributor of Banglalink’s products, and women entrepreneurs (Kallyani) operating under iSocial will get the opportunity to sell Banglalink’s SIM cards, scratch cards and provide iTop Up and Mobile Money Order Service as agents of the organization. The initiative was taken considering the vital role of women’s entrepreneurship in developing rural economy of the country.
